摘要: The effect of ejector configuration on the energetic efficiency gas-liquid contacting and gas-phase utilization was examined in two alternative operating modes ejector-distributor reactors, i.e. under conditions free suction or forced gas supply to ejector. Data for regime proved independence phase from configuration. dependence holdup (eG) superficial velocity (u0G) was, within whole range our experimental conditions, well described by a single empirical equation, eG = 2.8u0G0.9. Good agreement data with calculations based slip concept confirmed ‘homogeneous’ character beds distributor reactors. energy effectiveness bubble bed formation varied geometry. optimal values mixing tube diffuser length derived agreed those proposed previously Henzler (1983). No significant differences were, however, observed between different configurations, without tube, at constant total length. Experimental obtained clearly demonstrated decrease dispersion increasing feed rate as non-uniformity distribution high flow rates. A critical ratio liquid rates determined, representing upper limit ejectors working region forced-gas-supply regime.
