摘要: Remifemin is an ethanolic extract of the rhizome Cimicifuga racemosa (C.r.) and used to relieve climacteric hot flushes. In present study effects this preparation on LH FSH secretion menopausal women were investigated. After 8 weeks treatment, but not levels significantly reduced in patients receiving extract. To further characterize endocrinologically active principles plant extract, a lipophilic C.r. was prepared subjected Sephadex chromatography. Fractions obtained tested for their ability reduce ovariectomized (ovx) rats compete vitro with 17 beta-estradiol estrogen receptor binding sites. Three types compounds obtained: (1) Constituents which ligands suppress release after chronic (2) constituents also suppressing release, (3) are without effect release. It concluded that suppressive extracts observed ovx caused by at least three different synergistically acting compounds.
