摘要: This paper considers the solution of steady adjoint equations using a class iterative methods which includes preconditioned Runge-Kutta time-marching with multigrid. It is shown that, if formulated correctly, equal numbers iterations direct and solvers will result in same value for linear functional being sought. The precise details iteration are case partial updates, commonly used CFD computations. theory supported by numerical results from MATLAB program two model problems, programs 3D Navier-Stokes equations.
