摘要: The experiments reported here were designed to test the suggestion of many researchers that selective attention visual features a prey can account for search-image effects. In 3 pigeons ate wheat and vetch grains presented on multicolored gray gravel trays. Experiment 1 effects evident when cryptic but not they conspicuous. 2 demonstrated search images be activated encountered are either or conspicuous affect performance only cryptic. short-term in nature: A 3-min delay between successive encounters with type grain disrupted an image. discussion addresses how these results further develop model which viewed as prey.
