Interface-correlated Characteristics of Stainless Steel/Carbon Steel Plate Fabricated by AAWIV and Hot Rolling

摘要: Stainless steel (SS)/carbon (CS) clad plates were generated by means of the all-around weld interface and vacuuming (AAWIV) followed hot rolling, wherein AAWIV was utilized for controlling oxidation during rolling. The structure near analyzed optical microscopy (OM), scanning electron (SEM) transmission (TEM). mechanical properties SS/CS investigated tensile shear as well bend tests. is relatively flat no visible separation appears. Line analysis shows that diffusion Cr Ni from SS to CS C occurred bonding. Higher dislocation densities are observed in both layers parent adhering interface. reveal higher yield, strengths. Both macroscopic delamination at fracture base intergranular appearance flyer plate test. specimen fails a ductile manner tested crack Taking interfacial into account, exhibit sound bonding process
