摘要: Abstract The oxidation behaviour of three alumina forming FeCrAl alloys has been investigated during isothermal exposures in air at 1173 K. Two them were Kanthal A1, differing by the presence or not implanted yttrium. third one, AF contains alloying additions Kinetic results indicate that only yttrium implantation significantly reduces growth rate oxide scale early stage. For longer times, reactive element markedly influences and composition scale, whatever its introduction mode alloy. In situ X-ray diffraction shows suppresses formation transition promotes α-Al 2 O 3 , thereby leading to earlier a protective scale.
