摘要: Publisher Summary The ability to visualize the location of transcription factor expression and activation provides a powerful method for functional mapping brain pathways regions. Currently, there are two main based methods areas activated by physiological, pharmacological, and/or pathological stimulation: (1) immunocytochemistry (ICC) or in situ hybridization (ISH) detect inducible factors (ITFs) that normally expressed at zero very low levels neurons (2) ICC, using phospho-specific antisera, constitutively (CTFs) ITFs neurons. Additionally, ICC ISH can be used loss CTFs high under basal conditions. This occur after various types neuronal injury transgenic brains. In combination, these three approaches provide tools studying neuroanatomy neuropathology. Perhaps even more importantly, they clues about processes occurring responding an insight into functions (TFs) respond stimuli.
