摘要: An apparatus for investigating a sample with ultrasound has probe head formed by casing, transducer element of piezoelectric plastics material, and source applying high frequency pulse to the sample. The is preferably one end an optical fibre, which fibre extends laser remote from head. connected acoustic coupling medium, e.g. water. Thus, can be moved relative sample, compact, but efficient, structure achieved.
