Characteristics of fermentative hydrogen production with Klebsiella pneumoniae ECU-15 isolated from anaerobic sewage sludge

摘要: Klebsiella pneumoniae ECU-15 (EU360791), which was isolated from anaerobic sewage sludge, investigated in this paper for its characteristics of fermentative hydrogen production. It found that the condition favored production than micro-aerobic condition. Culture temperature and pH 37 °C 6.0 were most favorable The strain could grow several kinds monosaccharide disaccharide, as well complicated corn stalk hydrolysate, with best results exhibited glucose. maximum rate yield 482 ml/l/h 2.07 mol/mol glucose obtained at initial concentration 30 g/L 5 g/L, respectively. Fermentation diluent hydrolysate showed cell growth not inhibited. However, 0.65 V/V relatively lower (1.11 V/V), mainly due to interaction between xylose
