摘要: Drug-induced interstitial lung disease (DIILD) is highly underdiagnosed and very few preclinical models exist to study these event. To address the increasing issue of drug-induced toxicity, we aimed develop two translational in rats using different drugs; Bleomycin (BL) or Nitrofurantoin (NF). Here long-term systemic exposure medication was applied mimic clinical features. Methods: Sprague-Dawley received BL NF challenge subcutaneously, 3 days/week during 1-4 weeks. MRI performed at week 5. At termination (week 1, 2, 3, 4 5), BAL collected analysed for total protein inflammatory cells. Lungs were further by histology. Results: The showed diverse pathological alteration lungs (Figure). presented weight loss significant increase (p Conclusion: present DIILD rat, with distinct changes over time showing examples alterations upon medication. These serve as platforms biomarker development DIILD.
