摘要: We present a new analytical solution for the static shape of two-dimensional droplet in equilibrium with surrounding thin film on solid substrate. The modeling includes effects capillarity and disjoining-conjoining pressure accounting intermolecular forces between liquid. derive solutions droplet, cross-sectional area, half-width, maximum curvature inflection points. study size apparent contact angle. line region is compared profiles obtained by employing approximations suggested literature, observed differences are discussed.
