Age Determination of Male Bufo bufo (Amphibia, Anura) from the Netherlands, based on Year Rings in Phalanges

摘要: Based on both the pattern of year rings in a particular phalanx adult male specimens common toad Bufo bufo and thickness this bone first-year toads, rate resorption each could be assessed. It appeared that is small. Therefore age from Netherlands can determined for about 92% by counting number hematoxylin-stained cross-sections phalanx. This percentage raised to 93-98% considering resorbed. The remaining toads may underestimated not more than one year.
