摘要: Abstract One new and five known compounds, which all showed cytotoxic activity, were isolated from the rhizomes of Zingiber zerumbet . The compound was 3″,4″- O -diacetylafzelin. compounds zerumbone, zerumbone epoxide, diferuloylmethane, feruloyl- p -coumaroylmethane di- -coumaroylmethane. Several substituted cinnamoylmethanes synthesized tested for properties. Among these tricinnamoylmethane triferuloylmethane. structures elucidated mainly by spectroscopic methods 13 C NMR data are given.
