摘要: Abstract This paper presents a 2D axisymmetric CFD model of the oxidation zone in two-stage downdraft gasifier. The purpose this study is to investigate detail zone, which crucial for tar cracking. Results fit satisfactorily experimental data regarding temperature pattern and concentration. Simulations highlighted several points process: (a) tertiary are mainly destructed by combustion; (b) pyrolysis gas composition significantly influences process; (c) air injector design fundamental gasification as velocity air/fuel ratio have great influence on (d) there critical injection (about 34 m s−1 case) that dramatically changes flow pattern.
