摘要: The signaling of stem cell factor (SCF) through its receptor Kit is known to play an important role in regulating cutaneous melanogenesis. In the course UVB-induced pigmentation, expression membrane-bound SCF by epidermal keratinocytes upregulated at early phase and subsequently activates neighboring melanocytes via their receptors. order identify effective skin-lightening materials, we screened botanical extracts determine abilities diminish melanocytes. A Platycodon root extract was consequently found have a remarkable inhibitory activity on expression. When applied three-dimensional human skin substitutes vitro vivo after UVB irradiation, pigmentation significantly reduced, confirming substantial contribution suppression SCF/Kit preventing or inhibiting melanin synthesis. These data demonstrate that promising material for product improve pigmentation-related diseases.
