摘要: A leaky wave antenna is proposed and designed based on the spoof surface plasmon (SSP) modes with high radiation conversion within entire operation bandwidth of 12–23 GHz. The conventional LWAs suffer from complexity design low at their higher edge frequencies. Here, a new method to using symmetric structures. Operating non-transmission frequency range, SSP ensure transmitted power through LWA consequently do not require any loading termination. As result, achieves efficiency without loss. Benefiting simple single-layer configuration, plasmonic generates efficient backward, broadside forward consistent performance range. experimentally evaluated demonstrates its as beam scanning antenna.
