摘要: Fluid-structure interactions (FSI) due to internal flows are common sources of industrial concern. Piping systems and valves can generate strong vibrations, transient pulses, cavitation effects various types flow instabilities. Several studies carried out in the last five years on piping described illustrate variety phenomena indicate fields where research is required. The cases include waterhammer, turbulence-induced cavitation-induced vortex shedding with acoustic lock-in, FSI a shallow cavity coupled transverse modes.
