摘要: Frontotemporal lobar degeneration (FTLD) can be subdivided into frontotemporal dementia (FTD), FTD combined with motor neuron disease (FTD-MND), semantic (SD), and progressive nonfluent aphasia (PNFA). FTLD has been considered a rare disorder, its' demographic survival data have rarely studied in Asian population. A analysis using the Kaplan-Meier method was performed for 121 consecutive patients clinically diagnosed who attended Memory Disorder Clinic at Samsung Medical Center Seoul, Republic of Korea, between January 1995 September 2006. The overall median from onset first symptom 9.6 years (95% CI=8.3-10.8 y). shortest FTD-MND (3 y) longest SD (11.3 time (9.8 shorter than that longer PNFA. use Cox proportional-hazards model to examine effect demographics on revealed only age associated survival. In general, our are comparable those Western countries. However, female proportion greater across all subtypes PNFA other groups.
