Bleaching agents, chemical peels, intense pulsed (IPL) treatments, fractional resurfacing have all been used some success for melasma. Q-switched (QS) effective pigmentation but associated risk PIH. Long-pulsed neodymium-doped yttrium aluminum garnet (Nd:YAG) IPL pose less require greater number treatment sessions. Dermal targeted by QS ruby, alexandrite, 1064-nm Nd:YAG lasers, hyper- hypopigmentation may occur.
