摘要: The self-assembly of arrays metal ions with bridging ligands has evolved during the last twenty years as a powerful approach for construction cages and capsules well-defined shapes cavities. There been late an increasing exploration photoactive supramolecular in which at least one component, either ion or ligands, themselves incorporating complexes (metalloligands), are phosphorescent. Desirable photophysical properties such emission tuning encapsulation-assisted energy electron transfer have achieved by integrating phosphorescent d-block Ir(III) Ru(II) into backbone metallosupramolecular capsules. Such used sensing applications, photocatalysis context solar fuels production. This feature article summarises recent work on cage assemblies containing units, highlighting our contribution to this growing field bringing together key results.
