摘要: Removal of toxic Cr(VI) by activated sludge and DOM derived from was investigated in this study. A rapid increase TOC concentration 50.93 to 127.40 mg L−1 is observed during the removal process pH range 2–9. efficiencies either or greatly decreased with increasing initial pH. Kinetics indicate that both biosorption bioreduction are involved removal. slow dark, but it enhanced when UV light applied. The first-order constant increases 0.0033 (in dark) 0.079 min−1 (UV illumination) at 2.0 1068 DOM. enhancement reduction due generation reactive intermediates such as O2●_ DOM* absorbed energy, which plays important roles Cr(VI).
