摘要: Finding ways to monitor and control the perceptual quality of digital visual media has become a pressing concern as volume being transported viewed continues increase exponentially. This paper discusses principles methods modern algorithms for automatically predicting signals. By casting problem analogous assessing efficacy communication system, it is possible divide assessment into understandable modeling subproblems. Along way, we will visit models natural images videos, perception, broad spectrum applications.
