摘要: This paper presents the assessment of advanced Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) altimetry waveforms over largest archipelagos in Southeast Asia. The results identify that major waveform classes region are ocean-like (91%), recorded at location beyond 500 m from coastline. However, along satellite tracks parallel to coastline, there is evidence non-ocean within 7 km Three have been identified, specifically (Class 1), multi-peak 2) and quasi specular 3). finding this study suggest need a retracking optimized for SAR coastal waveforms.
