摘要: Blue phases (BP's) in liquid-crystalline systems of high chirality exhibiting a short cholesteric temperature interval are investigated. In BP I supercooled with respect to the phase, orientation cubic lattice (1,1,0) wave vector perpendicular substrate is spontaneously turned [200] within small areas several tenths micrometers diameter.
