摘要: The enzyme telomerase is present in about 85% of human cancers which makes it not only a good target for cancer treatment but also an excellent marker detection. Using single stranded DNA probe specific binding and reverse transcription tethered to interdigital gold electrode array surface, the chromosome protection provided by was replicated followed electrochemical impedance spectroscopy as unlabeled biosensor. this system designed in-house, easy affordable, measurements were taken while incubating at 37 °C promoting elongation. This resulted up 14-fold increase charge transfer resistance when testing telomerase-positive nuclear extract from Jurkat cells compared heat-inactivated telomerase-negative extract. electron process Au electrodes studied before elongation, different times after desorption non-specific binding.
