摘要: The global sugarcane production is about 1.91 billion tons annually and concentrated in tropical regions, particularly developing nations Latin America Asia. According to the UN Food Agricultural Organization (FAO), there are over 100 countries producing today. increase implies a proportional sugar industry wastes. As consequence of such increasing trend, industries facing severe environmental problems due lack sustainable solutions for their waste management. Therefore, immediate attention required find proper way management deal with wastes effluent order minimize pollution associated health risks. In this paper, different sources solid liquid from agriculture agro-industries reviewed valorization approaches these discussed. Some important resource recovery options wastes, which have been discussed review, include ethanol production, chemicals, use bagasse fly ash as adsorbents water treatment building materials. Technologies wastewater efficient ways utilization treated special measurement crop efficiency view our own research activities carried out past.
