摘要: Abstract Background Dietary assessment of adolescents with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) is challenging due to the limited cognitive abilities this population. Objective The purpose study was determine feasibility using digital images improve estimates energy macronutrient intake from proxy-assisted 3-day food records in IDD. Method Participants used a mobile device take photos all beverages consumed over three-day period simultaneously completed standard parent-assisted record at two separate time points. A registered dietitian reviewed recorded differences between images. photo-assisted were analyzed separately. Results One hundred thirty eating occasions entered (20 participants (age = 14.9 ± 2.2 yrs, 45.0% female)).
