摘要: Introduction. Indigenous peoples in the state of Chihuahua, Mexico, are known to outsiders as Tarahumaras. The Tarahumaras one few cultural groups have no traditional birth attendants, and Tarahumara women often give alone outdoors. Currently, little is about this group, their health status or culture.Objective. objective study was assess reproductive outcomes, risks, protective factors, beliefs behaviors population.Design. This paper reports on qualitative results a mixed methods study, comprised focus groups, interviews, participatory exploratory methods, ethnographic observation household surveys investigating contextual factors influencing it.
