摘要: The purpose of this study was to predict occupational choices based on demographic variables and high school curriculum tracks. Based an analysis the 1997 National Longitudinal Survey Youth (NLSY) data set that examined graduates' in 2006, findings indicated [career technical education] CTE graduates were 2.7 times more likely be science, technology, engineering, mathematics (STEM) fields, while College Preparatory 1.8 business, management, administration occupations. In addition, gender significantly related all choices. Implications call for teachers leaders find new strategies attract diverse students, particularly females minorities, into programs are predominately White and/or male.
