Enhancement of Human Blood Storage Period by Irradiation of Low Level He-Ne Laser

摘要: The aim of the present work is to investigate effect He-Ne laser irradiation on whole human blood (HB) in order enhance conditions conservation. HB was irradiated by laser; (λ = 632 nm, continuous wave, power 30 mW, 2 mm diameter beam spot), electrical properties and complete count CBC were measured at three doses (0.0287, 0.0563 0.198 J/cm3) relevant best exposure dose during storage periods 9, 24, 30, 35 & 50 days. process with selected performed sample flow through narrow tube cross section area, 0.0831 cm2. Blood dielectric parameters, (electric conductivity, constant, loss dipole moment) CBC, (red cell, white hematocrit, hemoglobin, mean corpuscular volume, cell or hemoglobin concentration) measured. obtained results compared that control showed suitable for increasing time minimum changes J/cm3 period about study revealed could be considered a good means improve conservation blood.
