摘要: We developed new microphysical schemes that have five and six classes of water substances based on the method Lin et al. (1983). In schemes, ice cloud is simply generated by a saturation-adjustment process. Furthermore, effect wetness graupel omitted in six-class scheme to reduce calculation costs. Because these simplifications, newly much less computationally costly than are commonly used Lin-type schemes. For validation comparison proposed squall-line simulations were conducted using NICAM dynamical core stretched icosahedral grid. this test case, squall line was simulated with processes more quickly without processes. Despite simplicity scheme, its physical performance similar computational higher those established scheme.
