摘要: To the Editor.— The choice of antimicrobial therapy for anaerobic lung infections remains controversial. These usually result from penicillin-sensitive oral flora. However, isolates penicillin-resistant Bacteroides fragilis and melaninogenicus such cases have been reported. 1 Despite these resistant organisms, several reports indicated that may respond as well to penicillin clindamycin or other drugs directed against species. 2 We recently treated a cavitating pneumonia did not ampicillin in one our patients.
