摘要: Throughout history landslides and flash floods have episodically affected human settlements in or near steeply sloping areas susceptible to heavy rainfall. These two types of natural hazards are closely related frequently triggered simultaneously by intense prolonged rainfall at steep mountain fronts. As the global population has increased, economic losses loss life risen because occupation development vulnerable [1, 38]. Recent examples been documented Campania region Italy (1998), Acapulco, Mexico (1997); Honduras Nicaragua eastern Mexican (1999), northern Venezuela (1999).
