摘要: We present an ab-initio study of neutron drops. use Quantum Monte Carlo techniques to calculate the energy up 54 neutrons in different external potentials and we compare results with Skyrme forces. also rms radii radial densities find that a re-adjustment gradient term is needed order reproduce properties these systems given by calculation. By using for drops close- open-shell configurations, suggest how improve forces when dealing large isospin-asymmetries like neutron-rich nuclei.
