摘要: Abstract We show that nuclear interactions are SU (4) symmetric at leading order in chiral perturbation theory the large- N limit of QCD. The nucleons and delta resonances form a 20-dimensional representation we how Wigner's supermultiplet symmetry sm , under which transform as 4-dimensional representation, follows an accidental low energy symmetry. Exploiting allows one to express 18 independent Δ interaction operators invariant (2) I × J terms only two couplings. three flavor analogue 28 octet, decuplet couplings, has implications for hypernuclei strangeness “neutron” stars.
