摘要: [1] Prediction of water and vapor flow in porous media requires an accurate estimation the soil retention curve describing relation between matric potential respective content from saturation to oven dryness. In this study, we modified Kosugi (1999) function represent at all potentials. This modification retains form original wet range transforms adsorption equation dry range. Following a systems identification approach, extended was tested against observed data taken literature that cover complete contents almost dryness with textures ranging sand silty clay. The uncertainty parameter estimates (confidence intervals) as well correlation parameters studied. predictive capability model evaluated under two reduced sets do not contain observations below −1500 −100 kPa. evaluation showed successfully predicted acceptable uncertainty. These results add confidence into proposed suggest it can be used better predict curve, particularly sets.
