摘要: Abstract Objective As the scientific literature on Balint groups (BGs) is scattered, this paper provides an overview of BGs published in peer-reviewed journals. Study characteristics are analyzed and principal research topics discussed. Methods ‘Web Science' ‘Pubmed' databases were searched all English-language studies (empirical non-empirical) included. Results Of 94 articles included, 35 empirical adopting a qualitative, quantitative or mixed methodology. The that emerged include outcome, BG participants, themes addressed BGs, processes, leadership evaluations. remaining classified as historical articles, reports reflective for which main discussion presented. Conclusion Research proves to be diverse, scarce often methodologically weak. However, indications value work found. Therefore, further strongly indicated. Practice Implications Points interest could considered by workers researchers instance long-term participation ‘modified groups'. Recommendations future provided.
