摘要: Abstract This paper develops and tests a theory of common property deforestation over space. The model examines both the spatial distribution forest loss total amount within given community, showing how these outcomes are jointly determined. equations estimated in four-step process using data from 318 Mexican properties. In contrast to previous theories, this shows that allocation across space is dependent upon absolute relative quality location each hectare land same community on overall decision community. Simultaneously, depends value deforested land, which determined by its physical attributes, as well characteristics affect collective choice problem. Smaller group size, higher secondary education, greater inequality correspond lower deforestation.
