摘要: In most cases, climate change projections from General Circulation Models (GCM) and Regional Climate cannot be directly applied to impact studies, downscaling is, therefore, needed. A large number of statistical methods exist, but no clear recommendations exist which are more appropriate, depending on the application. This paper compares two different methods, Presim1 Presim2, using Coupled Model Intercomparison Project Phase 5 (CMIP5) datasets station observations. Both include steps, major difference between them is how CMIP5 dataset data used. The downscaled precipitation validated with observations through China Jiangxi province 1976 2005. Results show that GCMs used in studies. China, second method establishes regression model based data, has a tendency overestimate or underestimate real values. accuracy much better than Presim2 mean absolute error, relative error root square error. fuses mode effectively. also importance meteorological process residual modification.
