摘要: In the field of oil sands processing, a process for heating an slurry stream such as bitumen froth containing and water having variable requirements includes injecting steam directly into at pressure through plurality nozzles to achieve sonic flow; operating vary injection by varying number which occurs in response requirements; subjecting backpressure sufficient enable sub-cooling relative boiling point water. A corresponding system is also provided.
