摘要: Abstract The effect of charged dust on the collisionless electrostatic ion cyclotron instability is investigated. Standard linear Vlasov theory used to estimate critical electron drift in presence either positively or negatively dust. assumed be uniform both mass and charge with much greater than mass. It shown that decreases as density carried by increases. Possible applications current system connecting Jupiter its satellite Io, well Saturnian rings are discussed.
