摘要: An improved method for configuring progressive ophthalmic lenses is disclosed. The includes computing a traditional merit function with two changes. First, the computation limited by calculating only preferred distance from meridian rather than until 0. Second, an additional term added to that calculates mean sphere at point reduced range maximum unwanted cylinder, entire range.
