The impact of the 2013 Common Agricultural Policy reform on farmer's investment decisions: an ex-ante evaluation

摘要: The research question addressed in this study is the impact of CAP 2013 reform and alternative scenarios on farm investment behaviour economic performances different farming systems. An ex-ante analysis farmers’ response to policy performed simulating some main changes introduced by both pillars, accounting for regional variations across Europe. methodology consist implementation a farm-level mathematical programming model. model cast as an integer dynamic linear based developed Viaggi et al. (2010) using GAMS software. models are calibrated set real farms data accouting farmers stated intentions collected through survey (Lefebvre, 2014). In paper we present structure, scenario results simulations carried out 50 models, each corresponding surveyed farm.
