Distributed Temporary Pseudonyms: A New Approach for Protecting Location Information in Mobile Communication Networks

摘要: One of the major security aspects in mobile communication networks concerns information about localization (mobile) network user. This may be protected by establishing a trusted third party that is responsible for creating suitable pseudonyms user identity. Distributing maintenance among n independent parties allows to increase further location information. In this paper, method proposed guarantees as long at least one definitely whereas other turn out corrupt. The pseudonym collision probability derived analytically before detailed OPNET simulation evaluates cost new approach compared standard GSM.
