摘要: Anatomical tracing studies in non-human primates have suggested that corticostriatal connectivity is topographically organized: nearby locations striatum are connected with cortex. The topographic organization of thought to underpin many goal-directed behaviours, but these topographies not been completely characterised humans and their relationship uniquely human behaviours remains be fully determined. Instead, the dominant approach employs parcellations cannot model continuous nature topography, nor accommodate overlapping cortical projections striatum. Here, we employ a different studying circuitry: estimate smoothly-varying spatially 9connection topographies9 from resting state fMRI. These correspond exceptionally well extend predicted primate studies. We show striatal topography preserved regions previously known connections can mapped precisely onto individual variations spatial layout connectivity.
