摘要: The composition of the anthophilous insect fauna a plant community in north-western Cape, South Africa, has been investigated. During 3-year survey more than 300 species belonging to four orders and 41 families have identified as day-active floral visitors. vast majority are solitary bees (136 spp.), but masarine wasps (14 bombyliid flies (53 monkey beetles (20 spp.) also well represented. Goegab appears be far diverse those desert scrub communities California Chile, equally that Californian Chaparral site. Compared latter, seems particularly rich bee flies, Masarinae possibly Eumenidae, poorer butterflies.
