摘要: The flow behavior of conical spouted beds containing heavy particles that occurs in chemical vapor deposition (CVD) was investigated using the computational fluid dynamics (CFD) approach. A fully Eulerian description solid and gas phases flows 3D used these simulations. hydrodynamics parameters including particle velocity, flux, volume fraction profiles at different bed levels were evaluated, overall studied. results showed close agreement with corresponding experimental data. effects cone angle, static height, bottom diameter on hydrodynamic analyzed presented. In addition, flat wall semi-conical (half-column) CFD performance investigated. for full quite from those half geometries. It also found angle 45° leads to roughly stable spouting compared 30° bed. model conical-cylindrical operating has potential periodic occurrence choking spout zone.
