摘要: Abstract Carbon spheres (CS) of relatively uniform size, ranging from 200 to 350 nm, were synthesized using the non-catalytic thermal Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) method. The effect temperature (650 °C–1050 °C) along with hydrogen (H2) and argon (Ar) in acetylene (C2H2) on carbon studied Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) Raman spectroscopy. Morphological studies show that can be by pyrolysis under H2 Ar at temperatures above 950 °C an atmospheric pressure CVD. broad peaks XRD spectrum ID/IG ratio 0.85 obtained Spectroscopy reveals are amorphous nature. morphological SEM different concentrations during synthesis indicate concentration carrier gases profoundly affects morphology. presence gives smooth contributes relative uniformity synthesized. A detailed study was carried out analyze influence SEM, spectroscopy FTIR. low reduces defects graphitization degree 0.85. present also infers high deteriorates morphology due excess C–H functional group formation.
