摘要: Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection is investigated in gastric diseases even during pregnancy. In particular, this Gram-negative bacterium seems to be associated with hyperemesis gravidarum, a severe form of nausea and vomiting During the last decade, relationship among H. several extra-gastric strongly emerged literature. The correlation pregnancy-related disorders was mainly focused on iron deficiency anemia, thrombocytopenia, fetal malformations, miscarriage, pre-eclampsia growth restriction. may have role pathogenesis various through different mechanisms: depletion micronutrients (iron vitamin B₁₂) maternal anemia neural tube defects; local or systemic induction pro-inflammatory cytokines release oxidative stress gastrointestinal pre-eclampsia; cross-reaction between specific anti-H. antibodies antigens localized placental tissue endothelial cells (pre-eclampsia, restriction, miscarriage). Since most likely acquired before pregnancy, it widely believed that hormonal immunological changes occurring pregnancy could activate latent negative impact not only health (nutritional deficiency, organ injury, death), but also fetus (insufficient growth, malformation, death) sometime consequences can observed later life. Another important issue addressed by investigators determine whether possible transmit from mother child prevent infant's infection. Studies novel diagnostic therapeutic methods for are no less important, since these particularly sensitive topics conditions. It interesting study other unknown etiology, such as gestational diabetes mellitus, obstetric cholestasis spontaneous preterm delivery. treatable, demonstration its causative will social-economic implications.
