摘要: Abstract Background Hand, foot and mouth disease (HFMD) is a rising public health issue in the Asia-Pacific region. Numerous studies have tried to quantify relationship between meteorological variables HFMD but with inconsistent results, particular for temperature. We aimed characterize temperature various locations investigate potential heterogeneity. Methods retrieved daily series of childhood counts (aged 0–12 years) each 143 cities mainland China period 2009–2014. fitted common distributed lag nonlinear model allowing over dispersion obtain city-specific estimates temperature-HFMD relationship. Then we pooled through multivariate meta-regression city-level characteristics as effect modifiers. Results found that overall was shown an approximately inverted V shape curve, peaking at 91th percentile risk ratio 1.30 (95% CI: 1.23–1.37) compared its 50th percentile. 68.5% variations attributable identified rainfall altitude two main Conclusions HFMD. The varies depending on geographic climatic conditions. findings can help us deepen understanding weather-HFMD provide evidences related decisions.
